Our staff are the lifeblood of our business and are dedicated to providing the highest level of service to all of our customers. Not only do they share a wealth of property knowledge, but they are locally based too, a true part of the community and directly in touch with the local market places in which we operate – the places where you live or are looking to live.
“I think it’s fair to say that business partnerships are about balance and I believe that this is what makes us successful. David and I bring different strengths to the partnership, as a result we work well as a team.”
We both lead from the front and are an integral part of the day to day running of the offices, including carrying out many of the valuations. It is so important to us that we provide that extra level of service with the human touch, hence our pride in regularly winning Customer Service awards!
Gary has more than 30 years’ experience in estate agency and he has moved home himself 10 times, so knows what he’s talking about. He worked at a senior level for two major corporate agencies before setting up Rawlinson Gold with David in 1994.
Gary has five children and is the proud and 'glamorous' grandfather of three. He is a regular member of his local gym and a QPR season-ticket holder. After an eventful few years, he recently enrolled on a Psychology course with the Open University. “There isn’t much I haven’t experienced so it will be interesting to understand more about what makes us all tick.”
“Listen to your estate agent. It’s what we do every day.”
In a complicated market, it is imperative that clients get correct, transparent advice.
David has over 30 years’ experience of estate agency, having worked in major corporate agencies before he helped set up Rawlinson Gold.
David runs the business side of Rawlinson Gold and oversees the Lettings Department. He is keen to see all estate agents licensed and qualified in the future and is committed to surpassing clients’ expectations.
He is married with two daughters and is a keen cyclist, golfer and very happy Chelsea supporter. He is a past Chairman of Northwood Round Table and has been instrumental in raising many thousands of pounds for local and national charities.
“I have lived in the local area since 1976 and have a great knowledge of the area and its recent history. As well as English, I also speak Punjabi and Urdu fluently.”
Shahzad has been in estate agency for over 20 years and has worked for Rawlinson Gold for a total of more than 10 years.
He really enjoys the variety each day holds and relishes the challenges of his chosen career. As a very relaxed and down-to-earth person, Shahzad builds rapport with people very easily, making him popular with our clients.
Shahzad is a Leeds United supporter and father of three (none of whom share his taste in football clubs). He also enjoys playing and watching cricket and is Rawlinson Gold’s champion pool player.
I wanted a change in my career and Rawlinson Gold gave me the chance. The team here have been really helpful and supportive since day one. They understand every buyer and every seller has their own unique set of circumstances and It’s really about matching the right buyer to the right seller.
I am a hard working individual who enjoys taking on responsibility and building rapport. I feel that my greatest strengths are my ability to develop and maintain a close working relationship with my clients. This allows me to gain an in-depth understanding of their individual needs and requirements, which allows me to deliver a professional response.
I am very competitive and in my spare time, I like going to the gym, swimming and playing football. I also enjoy going to the bowling alley and American pool. I enjoy travelling and have been fortunate to travel around the Middle East and South East Asia. I am also fluent in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
I started in estate agency in 1988 and have experienced the heady heights of boom markets and the dark days of a housing market in recession, I got married in Harrow and have two children pursuing their dreams and passions where “the offering of my support” is always there for them at every difficult corner.
I am still working within the Pinner and surrounding marketplace with passion and determination to provide exceptional service.
I particularly enjoyed my role as a sales manager. It enabled me to spend more time doing what I enjoy most - meeting with people at their properties, preparing them to go on to the market and guiding them through the process, from start to finish.
“Great things in business are never done by one person, they are done by a team of people. Sales go up and down, but service stays forever.”
Mateen joined Rawlinson Gold in 2017 as a Sales Negotiator for the Pinner office.
With his extensive background in sales and customer service, he is very much a people person with a proactive and can do attitude.
Mateen loves his cricket and plays for the local team as well as being the under 10’s coach.
“The best advice I could ever give to potential clients would be to trust the Rawlinson Gold Lettings Department - we really do have a wealth of experience at our finger tips.”

He enjoys the dynamic nature of the estate agency industry and also the fast pace turnover in lettings as it allows him to interact with new people and deal with new situations every day.
Outside of work Mitchell goes to the gym regularly after work and also loves to travel. He is also a keen football fan, supporting Arsenal FC.
“Remember estate agents are called negotiators for a reason. Why not let them earn their title?”
Sarah joined Rawlinson Gold in 2007 as a part-time sales secretary and moved into the Lettings team as a full-time Lettings Administrator in 2008.
As well as general administrative duties, Sarah is responsible for a range of tenancy-related tasks and as part of her role, she ensures that all documents comply with the latest legislation. She is instrumental in the smooth running of the lettings department and the ‘safety net’ for the sales team when computer-related problems arise.
Sorrel joined Rawlinson Gold in 2016 in a part time capacity. Initially hired as a Sales Negotiator, she became responsible for the sales admin tasks in our Pinner branch and soon discovered an attention to detail that highlighted an interest in administration. Confirming that she is happy to help in all aspects of the business, she has now moved in to our Lettings Department where she hopes to put this interest to further good use.
